Welcome to Steelhead Country
Northern California's Trinity River stretches one hundred and ten river miles through dense, evergreen forests and canyons decorated by massive boulders. These technical rapids flow through Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Six Rivers National Forest and protected BLM lands to join with the great Klamath River. Herein lies the heart of steelhead fly fishing country, a 40 mile section of river winding through some of the most pristine wilderness in the world.
The Trinity River is one of the finest Steelhead streams in the Western United States. It's runs of anadromous fish number in the thousands. Recent years on the Trinity have boasted some of the largest runs on record.
Clearwater Lodge on the Trinity River is the newest addition to the Clearwater family of lodges. Drawing upon our rich 25 year history of first-class fly fishing instruction and guiding, Clearwater Lodge offers the finest Steelhead fly fishing experience. |
