Day 1: The Advanced Nymphing School begins at 2pm with an overview of the course and ends on the 4th day after breakfast. Gear, knots, equipment, and casting skills are all part of the first afternoon.

Days 2-3: The two full days will be spent mainly on the water learning different nymphing techniques. Time will be divided between spring creeks and freestone streams.

Day 4: The course ends after breakfast on the 4th day.


Class Size & Student/instructor ratio:
We typically have between 2 and 6 people in each class. We have at least one instructor for every four students.

ADVANCED NYMPHING
• 2 full days plus 1 half day of instruction

Prerequisites:
• Overhead cast accurately to 30 feet.
• Roll cast off of either shoulder.

Course Description:
Nymph fishing is an ever evolving discipline. With the majority of a trout's feeding happening below the surface of the water, nymph fishing can be puzzling to many anglers. This focused school will teach you multiple techniques for casting, rigging and hooking fish underneath the surface in any water type.

Curriculum:
• Indicator nymphing
• Nymphing without an indicator
• Rigging for nymphing
• Application of different types of indicators
• Dry and Dropper
• Imitating mayfly, caddisfly, midge, and stonefly nymphs and emergers
• Spring Creek nymphing techniques
• Freestone nymphing techniques
