Welcome to Northern California's most exceptional, full-service fly fishing destination! Our extraordinary 1921 Arts and Crafts lodge has spacious accommodations and a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. Located in a park-like setting on the Pit River, the Lodge has hosted anglers and other visitors for over 80 years. The main lodge features seven bedrooms, each with a private bath. The adjoining Annex offers six single rooms and two large shared baths. The three Cottages, set among the oaks, pines, and spacious lawns, feature 2 and 3 bedroom suites.

We are located at the heart of some of the best fly fishing waters in the world. It's a two minute walk from the Lodge to wade or float fishing on the Pit. The Trophy Water on Hat Creek is five minutes west. Our two private launch sites on the Fall River, the largest spring creek in the northern hemisphere, are ten minutes east. We also fish Burney Creek, the McCloud River, and many small creeks and stillwaters in the area. Clearwater Lodge has a complete fly shop featuring the best local fly patterns as well as all the top of the line tackle for all of your fly fishing needs.
